High Star Ranch in Kamas, Utah sits on 1000 acres about 50 miles east of Salt Lake City, 12 miles from the historic mining town of Park City, which for many years, with Deer Valley, has been voted number one as the top ski resort in North America.

Kamas has long been known as “The gateway to the Uintas” and the High Star property backs right on to the Uinta National Forest. High Star is comprised of two existing ranches, a dairy farm and a horse and cattle ranch which the new owners have conjoined along the common property line to make into one large ranch.

Still in the planning stages, High Star Ranch has the unique opportunity to become a premier four season equestrian destination resort. High Star Ranch consists of lush pastureland in the valley bordering Highway 32 which is used for grazing, then two ranch complexes, High Star North and High Star South. Beyond these, the hillside gives way to the mountains where we have built exciting new trails which access beautiful camping spots, affording stunning views of Timpanogas, the Wasach Range and the beautiful Kamas valley below. High Star North has for many years been a favorite local boarding facility for trail riders and with some improvements, will remain essentially the same. High Star South is currently being redeveloped to suit the requirements for 3-day Eventing, Hunter/Jumping, Dressage,Polo, Cutting and a variety of Western Pleasure activities.
