New $240,000 system offers riders 12 miles of adventure

DeJoria Center – Utah’s premier event and adventure escape – is celebrating the grand opening of its new $250,000 mountain biking trail system – High Star Trail – this Saturday, June 10, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. The trail is one of the most advanced systems in Summit County and provides breathtaking views of Kamas Valley.

“We are thrilled to unveil our new High Star Mountain Biking Trail System and to be able to offer this opportunity to residents and visitors to our area,” said Tracy Mullen, director of sales and marketing for DeJoria Center. “The addition of mountain biking goes a long way in helping to develop increased sports recreation tourism here. We invite everyone of all ages to take part.”

High Star Trail was designed and constructed by Bob Radke, trail designer, and owner of Sagebrush Trails with more than 29 years of combined experience. The 12-mile trail traverses the base of the Uinta Mountain Range and Kamas Wildlife Management Area on the 1,100-acre natural conservancy located on High Star Ranch. The route goes through beautiful wooded glades, open awe-inspiring meadows, and challenging rocky terrain.

“The High Star Mountain Bike Trail is one of the most scenic and varied trails we have built. With its spectacular natural backdrop and diverse alpine terrain, it is sure to be a blast for everyone from beginners to experts,” Radke said.

DeJoria Center in partnership with South Summit Trails Foundation worked to create a trail that was both exciting and fun while respecting the natural environment. The trail was built and will be maintained using industry best practices.

High Star Trail is open seven days a week and is free to the public. For more information about mountain biking at DeJoria Center, visit or call 435.783.3113.
